Justice League Dark: Apokolips War

Justice League Dark: Apokolips War is an animated superhero film in which the intergalactic tyrant Darkseid has devastated Earth, leaving the Justice League and its allies badly beaten. With the planet in ruins, the surviving heroes must regroup and take the fight back to Darkseid to save what remains of the world. The story brings together members of the Justice League, the Justice League Dark, the Teen Titans and the Suicide Squad, with John Constantine, Superman and Raven among those working to rally the resistance.

Directed by Matt Peters and Christina Sotta, the film was released in 2020 and runs 90 minutes. It sits in the middle of the run of DC animated features Peters made between 2016 and 2023, arriving after several LEGO DC titles and before Injustice. It is the only film in that sequence with Sotta as co-director. Amy McKenna produced, and the voice cast includes Matt Ryan as John Constantine, Jerry O'Connell as Superman, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Jason O'Mara as Batman, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman and Stuart Allan as Robin, among 22 credited cast members.

The film received a critics' rating of 7.7 out of 10 from 19 reviews, while audiences rated it 7.7 out of 10 on IMDb from around 30,000 votes and 8.2 out of 10 on TMDB from over 1,600 votes. The high IMDb vote count points to a widely seen release, and the two audience scores sit close together, indicating a generally positive response from viewers.
