A detective named Mike Denver attempts to track down a masked serial killer known as Trick. This murderer returns every Halloween to commit violent crimes in small towns. While the general public believes the killer is dead, Denver remains convinced that the threat is still active and pursues the culprit across different jurisdictions.
The horror thriller was directed by Patrick Lussier, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Todd Farmer. Within Lussier's filmography, this production followed Flesh & Blood and preceded Play Dead. The movie stars Omar Epps as the lead detective, with supporting roles played by Tom Atkins, Jamie Kennedy, Ellen Adair, Kristina Reyes, and Vanessa Aspillaga.
