Mandrake

The journey is funded by a wealthy man named Harry Vargas. By removing the artifact from its resting place, the group awakens a bloodthirsty creature that is part plant and part animal. The monster begins hunting the expedition members, leaving them with little hope of escape as it seeks to reclaim the dagger.
