A family moves to a rural home to escape the city, where a young boy named Josh continues to suffer from severe nightmares. In an attempt to stop these visions, Josh steals a dreamcatcher from a mysterious neighbor. This action allows a malevolent entity to possess him, leading to sinister dreams and violent impulses. As the situation escalates, Josh and his father's partner, Gail, realize that a dangerous spirit has taken hold of the boy, forcing the family to fight to save his life.
