Pioneers

Set in 1848, this drama and thriller follows two desperate pioneer women as they attempt to escape across the desert of the American Midwest.

The short film was directed by Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler, marking the first project in a chronological series of collaborations that includes My Fault: London and Your Fault: London. The screenplay was written by Diana Irvine and Bianca Rusu, who also appear in the lead roles as Mattie and Cora. The cast is rounded out by Larry Poole, who plays a man on a horse.
