Warriors Two is a Hong Kong martial arts film set in a town where a banker named Mo schemes to seize power with the help of a gang of hired killers. When a cashier from Mo's bank overhears the plot, he becomes a target and takes refuge at the school run by Master Tsang, a doctor who also teaches Wing Chun. There the cashier trains in the fighting style, and he and Tsang's student Gei Cheun are drawn into a confrontation with Mo and his men. The story moves between the school and the gang's intimidation of the townspeople, with a hired fighter who practises Praying Mantis among the obstacles in the way.
Sammo Hung directed the film, his second behind the camera after The Iron-Fisted Monk and before Enter the Fat Dragon in a directing career that would eventually run to sixteen features. Hung also appears as Gei Cheun, alongside Leung Kar-yan as Master Tsang, Casanova Wang Ho as the cashier and Fung Hak-On as Mo, among a credited cast of twenty-two. Szeto On wrote the screenplay, and Raymond Chow Man-Wai produced for Golden Harvest.
Released in Hong Kong at the end of 1978, the film runs about ninety-five minutes and mixes action with comedy and drama. Its ratings are solid on IMDb, where 7.2 from roughly 1,700 votes indicates a widely seen and well-regarded title, and on TMDB, where a 7.3 from a much smaller base of 43 votes points to a devoted if limited following.
