A quiet loner's sports car breaks down near a small town, and with no way to pay for repairs, he agrees to work off the cost by spending a night cleaning an abandoned family entertainment center called Willy's Wonderland. Once inside, he discovers the restaurant's animatronic mascots come to life after dark with murderous intent. The janitor, who never speaks, turns out to be far more dangerous to the mascots than they are to him, and he fights his way through them until dawn.
The film is directed by Kevin Lewis and written by G.O. Parsons, with Nicolas Cage starring as the Janitor and serving as a producer alongside Grant Cramer and Danny Roth. Emily Tosta, Beth Grant, Ric Reitz, Chris Warner and Kai Kadlec appear in supporting roles. The production, a Malaysian-American co-production made for about 5 million dollars, was Lewis's first feature as director, followed by Oak and Pig Hill in 2025, then Misdirection and Christmas at the Kringles in 2026. It blends action, comedy, horror and thriller elements across an 89-minute runtime.
Audience reception on TMDB sits at 6 out of 10 from roughly 1,200 votes, while a critics' rating of 5.6 out of 10 from 94 reviews places professional assessment slightly below the audience score, suggesting a broadly middling response from both groups rather than strong enthusiasm from either.
