Fuss of the Fusses

This Soviet comedy focuses on a civil registry official who spends her professional life documenting new marriages. Her own domestic stability is shaken when she discovers her husband has been unfaithful for several months. Simultaneously, she struggles with her disapproval of the young man her daughter has begun dating, leading to a period of personal chaos.

The film was produced by Mosfilm and directed by Alla Surikova, marking the first entry in a series of five films she directed through 2010. The screenplay was written by Emil Braginskiy.
