Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight follows a group of teenagers whose lives revolve around their devices. Sent to a rehabilitation camp in a remote forest where technology is off limits, they find the programme upended when something dangerous stalks the woods around them. What begins as a hike meant to pull them away from their screens turns into a fight to stay alive.
The film is a Polish comedy horror directed by Bartosz M. Kowalski, who wrote the screenplay with Jan Kwieciński and Mirella Zaradkiewicz. It marked his first feature and was followed by a sequel the next year, with further horror films arriving in 2022 and 2024 and a drama in 2025. Julia Wieniawa leads the cast as Zosia Wolska, alongside Sebastian Dela, Michał Lupa, Wiktoria Gąsiewska, Stanisław Cywka and Gabriela Muskała, among twenty credited performers.
Made in Poland with backing from PISF, Akson Studio and Plan Zet, the film runs 102 minutes. It has drawn limited enthusiasm from viewers, sitting at 4.9 out of 10 on IMDb across roughly 16,000 votes and 5.2 out of 10 on TMDB from a much smaller pool of 743. A critics' rating of 4.9 from six reviews places professional opinion in the same range as the audience response.
