An adolescent named Adam possesses special abilities and the capacity to communicate with animals, traits inherited from his father, who is the famous Bigfoot. When his father travels to Alaska to protect a wildlife reserve from the influence of a petroleum company and subsequently vanishes, Adam teams up with his mother and a group of animal companions. Together, they journey to the north to rescue him and ensure the safety of the natural preserve.
The film was directed by Ben Stassen and Jérémie Degruson. For Stassen, this was his eighth project, following The Queen's Corgi. Degruson previously co-directed The House of Magic and The Son of Bigfoot before this production. The voice cast includes Jules Medcraft as Adam and David Lodge as Arlo. The project was a co-production between Belgium, France, and the Faroe Islands.
Produced with a budget of 18 million USD, the film earned 11 million USD at the worldwide box office. Audience reception is mixed, with a rating of 5.8/10 on IMDb based on 4,100 votes, while it holds a higher score of 7.1/10 on TMDB from 245 votes.
