In a remote forest, three brothers and their abusive father live in isolation. When the brothers set out to kill their father during a hunting trip, the act sets off a lethal contest of pursuit and evasion. Later, the discovery that the grave they left behind is empty turns the brothers against one another, and distrust and dread take hold as events spiral.
