Heart of Stone

Heart of Stone centres on Rachel Stone, an intelligence operative working for a secretive international organisation dedicated to keeping the peace. Rachel serves as the only thing standing between the agency and the loss of its most valuable and dangerous asset, an artificial intelligence that gives whoever controls it enormous power. When a hacker named Keya Dhawan gets hold of the technology, Rachel and her colleagues Parker and Jack are drawn into a pursuit that takes them across the world, and Rachel soon finds it hard to tell who she can trust.

The 2023 action thriller was directed by Tom Harper, his fifth feature after The Swarm, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Wild Rose and The Aeronauts. Greg Rucka and Allison Schroeder wrote the screenplay, and Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn and Dana Goldberg produced. Gal Gadot plays Rachel Stone, with Jamie Dornan as Parker, Alia Bhatt as Keya Dhawan, Sophie Okonedo as Nomad, Matthias Schweighöfer as Jack of Hearts and Paul Ready as Bailey. The film runs 122 minutes.

Audience reactions were mixed. On IMDb it holds 5.7 out of 10 from around 68,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 6.7 from a far smaller pool of under 2,000 ratings. A film critics' rating of 4.8 out of 10 from 135 reviews places it below both audience scores, indicating that critics were less favourable toward the film than viewers were.
