Five strangers receive mysterious invitations to spend Christmas at an inn, each assuming someone else arranged the trip. Sarah, a lawyer who has returned home to handle her late mother's affairs, attributes her invitation to her Seattle firm. The other guests include Karen, a divorced woman who believes she won a contest, and Jasper, a widowed musician convinced his wife made the booking. At the inn they meet Ben, its owner, and as Sarah gets to know him and the others, she begins to suspect their presence there is not coincidental and that a shared event from the past links them.
The film is a Canadian-American television romance directed by David Winning, working from a screenplay by Marcy Holland. It is the second entry in a series of Christmas films following a naming pattern, arriving between Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas and Time for Him to Come Home for Christmas, and it sits in the later stretch of Winning's long run of television movies, which also includes The Mistletoe Promise and Finding Santa.
Lacey Chabert plays Sarah, with Stephen Huszar as Ben and supporting turns from Lini Evans, Leon, Doron Bell and Vienna Leacock. It runs 84 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 7 out of 10 from around 2,300 votes, and on TMDB it also sits at 7 out of 10, though from a much smaller base of roughly 31 votes.
