Yara

Based on a true story, this Italian drama focuses on the investigation into the murder of thirteen-year-old Yara Gambirasio in the town of Brembate di Sopra. After the young gymnast disappears, prosecutor Letizia Ruggeri leads the search for the killer. With only a small amount of DNA evidence and no existing database for comparison, Ruggeri implements a large-scale DNA collection from the local population, a decision that draws criticism from others.

Isabella Ragonese stars as Letizia Ruggeri, appearing alongside Alessio Boni, Thomas Trabacchi, Sandra Toffolatti, Roberto Zibetti, and Mario Pirrello. The production involved 38 credited cast members and 42 credited crew members, with support from companies including Medusa Film and Taodue Film.

The movie received a moderate reception from viewers, earning a rating of 6.3/10 on IMDb from 7,500 votes and a matching 6.3/10 on TMDB based on 443 votes.
