My Son

Edmond Murray is a man who has pursued an international career away from his family. While traveling for work, he learns that his seven-year-old son has disappeared from a campsite in the Highlands. After arriving at the location and meeting his ex-wife and local authorities, it becomes evident that the child was kidnapped. As official leads vanish and the search efforts fail, Edmond begins his own investigation to find his son, a process that forces him to confront his own beliefs.

Directed by Christian Carion, this crime drama follows his 2005 film Joyeux Noel and precedes his 2022 project Driving Madeleine. The movie stars James McAvoy as the father, alongside Claire Foy, Tom Cullen, Gary Lewis, Michael Moreland, and Robert Jack.
