Set in Montreal during the late 1970s, this crime thriller follows Donald Lavoie, a ruthless contract killer employed by mob leader Claude Dubois. The conflict begins when Lavoie is assigned to mentor Serge Rivard, an impulsive criminal whose mistakes during a double murder put Lavoie in legal jeopardy. While the influence of the Dubois organization helps Lavoie escape immediate conviction, he remains the target of a persistent detective who attempts to pressure him into becoming a police informant.
The film was directed by Raymond St-Jean, marking the first of two directed works listed in his career, followed by Veins in 2026. St-Jean also co-wrote the screenplay with Martin Girard. The production was handled by Les Productions Megafun and features a cast led by Éric Bruneau, Benoît Gouin, and Joakim Robillard, with a total of 46 credited performers.
