Stoker Hills

Three college students set out to make their own horror film, but their project leads them into a situation far worse than anything they planned to shoot. When they disappear, the camera they left behind becomes the only trace for two detectives trying to piece together what happened to them. The premise places the film in the found-footage tradition, with the recovered recording serving as the link between the students' ordeal and the investigation that follows.

Stoker Hills was directed by Benjamin Louis from a screenplay by Jonah Kuehner, and it was released in January 2022 with a runtime of 91 minutes. The cast includes Tony Todd as Professor Smith, David Gridley as Ryan, Steffani Brass as Erica Gallagher, Vince Hill-Bedford as Jake, Danny Nucci as Mark Gallagher and William Lee Scott as Detective Bill Stafford. It was produced by Night Fox Entertainment in the United States.

The ratings point to a modest reception rather than a widely embraced one. On IMDb the film holds 4.2 out of 10 from around 4,000 votes, while on TMDB it sits at 4.9 out of 10 from a much smaller pool of 18 votes. A critics' rating of 3.6 out of 10 from six reviews is in line with those audience scores, suggesting that reviewers and viewers broadly landed in the same place. The relatively small number of ratings indicates a limited audience rather than a major genre release.
