What's left behind the scenes
- Despite the film being shot in Super 35 format, the end credits state "shot in Panavision".
- During the filming of scenes on the yacht and dinghy, Alexandra Daddario discovered she was prone to seasickness. Interestingly, her character in the novel develops this illness on the ship "Queen Anne's Revenge".
- In the scenes in Washington, D.C., skyscrapers are visible in the background. By law, enacted in 1910, building height is limited to a maximum of 64 meters.
- When Annabeth discovers the magical powers of the Golden Fleece on the tablet, she then runs to Grover to show it to him, at which point it can be noticed that there is nothing on his screen.
