The Desperate Hour

Amy Carr is out for a morning run in the woods near her home when she learns that a shooting has broken out at her teenage son Noah's high school. With the town placed under lockdown and police searching for the shooter, she is miles away from the scene and has only her phone to work with, so she tries to gather whatever information and help she can while trying to reach her son.

Chris Sparling wrote the screenplay and produced alongside Naomi Watts and Dylan Sellers. Watts plays Amy, with Colton Gobbo as Noah, Sierra Maltby as Emily, and Michelle Johnston, Woodrow Schrieber and David Reale providing voices. The film runs 84 minutes and was made in Canada and the United States by Limelight, Boies/Schiller Film Group, JamTart Productions and Roadside Attractions.
