Who?

An American scientist named Lucas Martino is severely injured in a car accident near the border of East Germany. After being captured by military forces, he is treated with metal implants to save his life. Upon his return to the United States, his identity becomes a source of suspicion. Because his physical appearance has been so drastically altered, intelligence officials must determine if he is truly the scientist or a foreign agent in disguise.

Directed by Jack Gold, this 1974 production was the first of five films he directed, followed by Aces High in 1976. The movie was produced in the United Kingdom by Hemisphere Productions, MacLean and Company, and Lion International Film, with a screenplay written by John Gould and produced by Barry Levinson.
