Code Name: Emperor

Juan is an agent with Spain's secret service who approaches Wendy, a young Filipina working as a maid for a couple he is watching. What begins as an assignment draws him deeper into a web of surveillance and deceit, and the line between the operation and his own involvement becomes harder to hold. The thriller, a Spanish-French co-production, was directed by Jorge Coira, following his earlier feature Eroski/Paraíso and arriving before I've Gone Viral in his filmography. Jorge Guerricaechevarría wrote the screenplay, and Emma Lustres and Borja Pena produced.

Luis Tosar leads as Juan, with Alexandra Masangkay as Wendy and Georgina Amorós, Denís Gómez, Laura Domínguez and María Botto in supporting roles. The credited cast numbers 29. The film runs 105 minutes and was released in March 2022.

On IMDb, the film holds a rating of 5.8/10 from 182 votes. A critics' rating of 4.7/10 from five reviews sits below the audience score, suggesting reviewers responded less favourably than viewers did.
