Out of Death

Shannon Mathers is a hiker who witnesses corrupt police officers committing a crime in the woods. After taking photographs of the event, she is spotted and forced to flee through the wilderness to avoid capture. During her escape, she encounters Jack Harris, a retired officer and forest ranger, who becomes her ally in the struggle to survive against the pursuing officers.

The film was directed by Mike Burns and was the first of two listed works in his career, followed by Wrong Place in 2022. The screenplay was written by Bill Lawrence, and the movie was produced by George Furla, Randall Emmett, and Stephen J. Eads. The cast features Jaime King as Shannon Mathers and Bruce Willis as Jack Harris, alongside Lala Kent, Tyler Jon Olson, Kelly Greyson, and Michael Sirow.
