Julian Albans struggles to adapt to a new school after being expelled from Beecher Prep for his behavior toward a classmate. To help him change his perspective, his grandmother shares a story from her youth in Nazi-occupied France. She recounts how a fellow student, who was also marginalized by his peers, risked everything to hide and protect her from mortal danger.
