Set in 1970s California, this horror mystery follows a Mexican-American couple expecting their first child. After moving to a migrant farming community for a job managing a farm, the wife begins to feel isolated and experiences disturbing visions and physical symptoms. As she explores their residence and finds belongings left by previous tenants, she attempts to discover if her condition is caused by a local legend regarding a curse or a more sinister force.
