Kaylee is a Native American boxer and former world champion who has spent two years hoping for news of her younger sister Weeta, who vanished without a trace. Girls from Indigenous communities disappear too often in that part of the country, and the authorities show little interest in looking for them. Having left the ring, Kaylee takes a job at a cheap diner near the place where her sister was last seen and begins her own search, which draws her into a criminal network that trades in people. The conflict is between her determination to find Weeta and the violence and danger that her investigation brings her up against.
Josef Kubota Wladyka directed and wrote the film, making it the first of the two features he has directed to date; his second, Ha-Chan, Shake Your Booty!, followed in 2026. The cast is led by Kali Reis, a former world boxing champion, as Kaylee, with Mainaku Borrero as Weeta, Daniel Henshall as Bobby, Michael Drayer as Danny, Kevin Dunn as Willie and Lisa Emery as Debra. The production was handled by companies including Protozoa Pictures, Memento Films International, The Population and Needle's Eye Productions, with Mollye Asher, Wladyka and Kimberly Parker producing.
The film runs 85 minutes. On IMDb it holds a rating of 6.3 from around 2,700 votes, and on TMDB a rating of 6.4 from about 100 votes, so audiences generally rated it as a solid genre thriller. Film critics were more favourable, giving it 7.5 out of 10 across 67 reviews, a noticeably higher figure than the audience scores.
