Bring It On: Cheer Or Die

A cheerleading squad arranges to practise its routines over Halloween weekend inside a deserted school. What begins as a chance to work on their performances turns dangerous when the teammates start being killed one after another by someone whose identity they do not know. The survivors have to work out who is responsible before the team is wiped out. The film is a horror-flavoured entry in the Bring It On series of cheerleading films, though it stands apart from the earlier, lighter entries by adding a slasher premise.

Karen Lam directed, working from a screenplay by Rebekah McKendry and Dana Schwartz, and Griff Furst produced. It is the second of three features Lam has directed, between Evangeline and Armageddon Road, and it was made for television by Universal 1440 Entertainment with Beacon Pictures. Kerri Medders plays Abby, with Tiera Skovbye as McKayla Miller, Samuel Braun as Scott Becker, Missi Pyle as Principal Simmons, Alten Wilmot as Mateo and Sierra Holder as Jackie among a credited cast of seventy-five. The film runs ninety-one minutes.

Released in 2022, it drew a critics' rating of 3.4 out of 10 from nine reviews, while audiences have been somewhat kinder, with 5.7 out of 10 on TMDB and 3.7 out of 10 on IMDb from around 1,300 votes.
