Julie Roy lives in the countryside and commutes to a luxury hotel in Paris, where she works while raising her two children largely on her own. The routine she has built is demanding but workable, until two things arrive at once: an interview for a position she has wanted for a long time, and a national transit strike that shuts down public transport across the country. With trains and buses halted, Julie has to find a way to reach the interview and hold on to everything else she has arranged around her job and her children.
Full Time is a French drama directed and written by Eric Gravel, running 88 minutes, with Laure Calamy as Julie. Anne Suarez, Geneviève Mnich, Nolan Arizmendi, Sasha Lemaître Cremaschi and Cyril Gueï appear alongside her, among a credited cast of 55. The production, a French and American co-production, was made for about three million dollars.
On IMDb the film holds 7.4 out of 10 from around 7,100 votes, and on TMDB it stands at 7 out of 10 from 350 votes. A critics' rating of 8.1 out of 10 from 61 reviews places it somewhat above the audience scores.
