What's left behind the scenes
- By decision of James Cameron and the producers, everyone involved in the filming received exclusively vegetarian food. It was assumed that this would add weight to the film's main message about the need to protect the environment.
- According to James Cameron, the director, screenwriter, and producer of the project, working on the sequels to 'Avatar' was so difficult that he had to delegate the scriptwriting to Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Josh Friedman, and Shane Salerno, and they didn't know when any particular part would be filmed.
