What's left behind the scenes
- When Beth (played by Leighton Meester) walks to Rob's house (played by Luke Norris) at the end of the film, the scene in the park was deliberately shot to resemble Georges Seurat's (1859-1891) painting “A Sunday on La Grande Jatte” (1884-1886) – in terms of the arrangement of the water's edge, groups of people, and trees.
