Torn Hearts

Torn Hearts follows an up-and-coming country music duo, Jordan Wilder and Leigh Blackhouse, who travel to the secluded home of their idol, Harper Dutch. Harper was once a star of Nashville before she withdrew from public life. The two women hope to record a song with her, but their visit turns into a series of horrors that forces them to confront how far they are willing to go for their dreams. Katey Sagal plays Harper, with Abby Quinn and Alexxis Lemire as the aspiring singers, alongside Joshua Leonard, Shiloh Fernandez and Alon McKlveen.

The film was directed by Brea Grant and written by Rachel Koller Croft. It is the second feature Grant directed, following 12 Hour Shift in 2020 and preceding MLM in 2024 and Grind in 2026. It was produced by Paige Pemberton and Paul B. Uddo for Blumhouse Productions, Blumhouse Television and Epix, and runs 97 minutes.

Released in May 2022, Torn Hearts blends drama, horror, music, mystery and thriller elements. Its critical reception was notably stronger than its audience scores, with a critics' rating of 7.2/10 from 28 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, compared with 5.3/10 from around 2,200 votes on IMDb and 5.7/10 from 82 votes on TMDB.
