Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles is a music documentary that follows Billie Eilish as she performs every song from her album in sequential order at the Hollywood Bowl. Eilish is accompanied by FINNEAS, Romero Lubambo, the Los Angeles Children's Chorus, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.
The film was co-directed by Patrick Osborne and Robert Rodriguez. For Osborne, this followed his 2014 work Feast. For Rodriguez, this was the 22nd of 24 films he directed, released after We Can Be Heroes in 2020 and before Hypnotic in 2023. The production was a collaboration between companies in the United States and the United Kingdom, including Interscope Films and Double R Productions.
The movie has been received positively by viewers. On IMDb, it holds a rating of 7.3/10 based on 2,000 votes, while it has a slightly higher score of 7.8/10 on TMDB from 128 votes.
