Following their time at the front, António, Jota, and their companions travel through wetlands to find ancient Roman baths. These ruins recently resurfaced from a reservoir, attracting crowds of visitors. The men find that the thermal waters possess a mysterious quality that alters their emotions, granting them the bravery to reveal long-held secrets. As darkness falls, they share their true feelings and express their fear of losing a close friend.
The drama was directed by Gabriel Azorín, who also served as a producer and co-wrote the screenplay with Celso Giménez. The film is a joint production between Spain and Portugal, involving the companies Filmika Galaika, Bando à Parte, and Dvein Films. The main cast features Santiago Mateus in the role of António, António Martim Gouveia as Jota, Oussama Asfaraah as Aurelius, and Pavle Čemerikić as Pompei. Released on August 28, 2026, the movie has a total runtime of 106 minutes.
