Eugenie

An innocent young woman named Eugenie is invited to spend a weekend at a luxurious residence on a private island. Once there, she is introduced to a decadent world of pleasure and pain overseen by a mysterious figure named Dolmance. The young woman is forced into various forms of debauchery and torture, eventually becoming a central participant in sadistic orgies and acts of murder.

The film was directed by Jesús Franco and is the seventh of 21 films he directed, following Count Dracula and preceding Sinner: The Secret Diary of a Nymphomaniac. Produced by Harry Alan Towers, who also wrote the screenplay, the movie stars Marie Liljedahl, Christopher Lee, Maria Rohm, Jack Taylor, Paul Müller, and María Luisa Ponte. This drama and horror production was a joint effort between Germany, Spain, and Liechtenstein.
