Norbourg

This Canadian drama and thriller follows the rise and fall of the financial firm Norbourg in mid-2000s Quebec. The plot centers on Vincent Lacroix, a businessman who defrauded thousands of investors and embezzled over 130 million dollars. Éric Asselin, an auditor and inspector assigned to monitor the company, becomes captivated by Lacroix's audacity. Asselin eventually abandons his official duties to become the businessman's closest associate, helping to obstruct investigations and divert hundreds of millions of dollars before the company is finally closed in on from all sides.
