Wild Horse Nine

Upcoming crime comedy thriller Wild Horse Nine is set in 1973 just before the coup in Chile. CIA agents Chris and Lee are sent from Santiago to Easter Island by their supervisor, MJ. While dealing with current conspiracies and their own shared history, Chris develops a connection with two rebellious students. This new relationship threatens to disrupt the mission and the stability of the agents' trip to the remote location.

The film is written and directed by Martin McDonagh, following his previous work on In Bruges, Seven Psychopaths, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, and The Banshees of Inisherin. The cast features John Malkovich, Sam Rockwell, Steve Buscemi, Mariana di Girolamo, Ailín Salas, and Parker Posey. Produced by Searchlight Pictures, TSG Entertainment, Film4 Productions, and Fabula, the movie is a joint production between the United Kingdom, United States, and Chile. It was made with a budget of 5 million USD and has a runtime of 118 minutes.
