An Ordinary Mother

Aline remains haunted by the death of her seventeen-year-old son, who was killed in a street fight. After encountering the man responsible for the tragedy following his release from prison, she devises a plan to seek revenge. However, as she spends time with the young man, her resolve is challenged and she begins to question her desire for retribution.

This French drama and thriller was directed by Sylvie Audcoeur, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Jacques Akchoti and Anna Fregonese. The film stars Karin Viard in the lead role as Aline, appearing alongside Darren Muselet as Maxime and Samir Guesmi as Farid.
