Choke Canyon

In the 1980s, physicist David Lowell establishes a research laboratory in Choke Canyon to conduct experiments involving sound waves and the approach of Halley's Comet. He holds a long-term lease on the land from the Pilgrim Corporation. However, the company decides to use the site as a storage facility for radioactive or toxic waste. When Lowell refuses to leave his laboratory, the corporation employs violence and sabotage to force him out, leading to a confrontation between the determined scientist and the company.
