Oti Uttam

A PhD student focuses his academic research on the life of Uttam Kumar. After experiencing romantic rejection from a woman he admires, the scholar attempts to bring the actor's spirit back to life with the assistance of the man's grandson. This Indian production blends elements of comedy and romance.

The film was directed and written by Srijit Mukherji. In the chronological order of his work, this project follows Dwitiyo Purush and precedes Padatik. Produced by Rupa Datta through Camellia Productions, Matchcut Productions, and Chhayabani Pvt. Ltd, the movie features Anindya Sengupta as Krishnendu and Roshni Bhattacharyya as Sohini Sen.
