Dracula: The Original Living Vampire

Detective Amelia Van Helsing investigates a series of violent killings targeting young women. As she searches for the culprit, the evidence points toward the mysterious and seemingly untouchable Count Dracula. The investigation becomes personal when Van Helsing's partner disappears, forcing the detective to confront the possibility that monsters actually exist during a final clash with the count.

This fantasy horror thriller was directed by Maximilian Elfeldt, following his work on Avengers Grimm: Time Wars and War of the Worlds: Annihilation. It precedes his 2025 film Battle for Castle Itter. The movie features a cast including Christine Prouty as Amelia Van Helsing, Jake Herbert as Count Dracula, and Michael Ironside as Dr. Jack Seward, with India Davies appearing as Mina Murray. Produced by The Asylum and The Global Asylum, LLC, the film was released in the United States in January 2022.
