Harvest

Harvest follows the inhabitants of a nameless, isolated rural community as they face an intrusion from the outside world. The story centers on Walter Thirsk, a former city dweller turned farmer, and his childhood friend Charles Kent, the awkward owner of the land. Over the course of seven hallucinatory days, the arrival of outsiders, including a cartographer, brings the trauma of modernity to their peaceful existence, leading to the village's eventual disappearance.

The drama was directed by Athina Rachel Tsangari, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Joslyn Barnes. This project follows her previous films Venice 70: Future Reloaded and Chevalier. The production was a multinational effort involving companies from Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, Cyprus, the United States, and France. The cast is led by Caleb Landry Jones, Harry Melling, Rosy McEwen, Arinzé Kene, Thalissa Teixeira, and Frank Dillane, with a total of 35 credited actors and 48 crew members.

Released on April 16, 2025, the film has a runtime of 134 minutes. Based on 52 votes, it holds a rating of 6.1/10 on TMDB.
