Tony, Shelly and the Magic Light

Tony is a boy born with the unique ability to glow, a trait that often causes him difficulties and leads him to spend much of his time hidden at home. Shortly before Christmas, a peculiar girl named Shelly moves into his building. Despite some initial hesitation, Tony becomes fascinated by her. The two children form a friendship and use a flashlight to explore their surroundings. Together, they attempt to uncover the source of mysterious dark cracks that consume all light, including daylight, which may be caused by a spirit inhabiting the house.

This stop-motion animated fantasy was directed by Filip Pošivač and written by Jana Šrámková. The production is a collaboration between Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, involving companies such as Česká televize and RTVS.
