Shark Bait

A group of friends spending a holiday in Mexico take two stolen jet skis out into the open ocean. After a violent collision, one vehicle sinks and the other breaks down, leaving the group stranded. With one friend seriously injured and bleeding, the survivors must fight to stay alive while sharks begin to circle their position.

Directed by James Nunn, this film follows his work on One Shot and precedes One More Shot in his career. The movie was produced by Nadine Luque, Andrew Prendergast, and Andy Mayson, with a screenplay by Nick Saltrese. The cast features Holly Earl, Jack Trueman, Catherine Hannay, Malachi Pullar-Latchman, Thomas Michael Flynn, and Manuel Cauchi.

Produced as a joint venture between Malta and the United States, the film had a budget of 5 million USD but earned 2 million USD at the worldwide box office. It has received mixed to low ratings, with a 4.2/10 from critics. Audience reception is slightly higher on TMDB with a 5.6/10 from 374 votes, while it holds a 4.5/10 on IMDb from 5,700 votes.
