Greg Van Huffel has shut down his alibi agency and promised Flo he will stop lying to her, but their quiet life together does not last. When he decides to propose, he faces the problem of introducing her to his family, and he considers his father, a con man, and his mother, a former actress, unlikely to make a good impression. Rather than risk the engagement, he brings his old team back together and sets about staging one more deception, built around a pair of more respectable stand-in parents.
The film is a French comedy directed by Philippe Lacheau, who co-wrote it with Julien Arruti and Pierre Lacheau. It follows Alibi.com (2017) in the director's filmography, arriving after City Hunter (2019) and Superwho? (2022); Marsupilami (2026) and Alibi.com 3 (2027) come later. Lacheau again plays Greg, with Tarek Boudali, Élodie Fontan and Julien Arruti returning, while Nathalie Baye and Didier Bourdon join as the parents. It runs 88 minutes and was produced in France by StudioCanal, TF1 Films Production, TF1 Studio and BAF Prod.
Released in January 2023, the film took around 34 million dollars worldwide, a solid return for a French comedy of its scale. On IMDb it holds 6.5 out of 10 from roughly 4,000 votes, and on TMDB 6.6 out of 10 from about 500 votes, so viewers on both platforms rate it similarly.
