Home for Rent

A married couple facing financial trouble rent out their home and move into a small apartment with their young daughter. Before long, the wife learns from a neighbour that the new tenants behave strangely and carry out some kind of ritual every night at four in the morning. She also notices changes in her husband: a tattoo matching the renters', unexplained trips out at that hour, and a red book he keeps with him constantly. Most frightening of all, something appears to be creeping toward their daughter. The story is inspired by real events and concerns a cult that draws the husband in while threatening the child, leaving the wife to confront it alone.
