- During an online screening of the film at one of the festivals, the equipment 'glitched', and the film went 'viral'. It became possible to download it on services like TikTok and YouTube even before the official premiere.
- According to director and screenwriter Kyle Edward Ball, two child actors initially had a line containing a swear word. However, when it came time to record it, the boy couldn't pronounce the swear word, while the girl kept giggling. It took eight minutes to record the line, but it was ultimately cut from the film.
