His other directing credits include Ekis (1999), Mano Po 2 (2003), Gagamboy (2004), Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles (2012) and its sequel Kubot: The Aswang Chronicles 2 (2014), and BuyBust (2018).

Matti co-founded the production company Reality Entertainment with Dondon Monteverde, son of film producer Lily Monteverde.
