Prisoner of War

Set during World War II, Prisoner of War follows James Wright, a British officer captured by Japanese forces. While held in a prisoner camp, Wright is forced into brutal hand-to-hand combat for the entertainment of his captors. He utilizes his previous martial arts training from Hong Kong to survive these fights and becomes a source of hope for his fellow prisoners. As the Japanese army prepares for a forced march, Wright seeks a way to survive and assist his comrades.

Directed by Louis Mandylor, this is the third film in his chronological directorial sequence following 3 Days in Malay and Operation Blood Hunt. The movie features Scott Adkins as the lead character, along with Peter Shinkoda, Michael Copon, Gabbi Garcia, Michael Rene Walton, and Masanori Mimoto. Produced by Brandon Menchen, Marc Clebanoff, and Scott Adkins, the production was a collaboration between the United States and the Philippines.

The film was a significant commercial success, earning 95 million USD worldwide against a 2 million USD budget.
