Born in Dhangadhi, she first gained national attention as a semi-finalist in the Miss Nepal 2007 pageant before transitioning into music videos and professional modeling. She made her film debut in 2010 with First Love, but her career reached a significant turning point with the massive box-office success of Loot in 2012.
