Milad Khosravi is an Iranian film producer whose work is strongly engaged with social issues, including children’s rights, family, identity and contemporary political realities. After several years of work in film production and independent producing, he founded Seven Springs Pictures in 2020, an independent production company originally established in Tehran. Through the company, he has produced and represented arthouse, auteur-driven and socially engaged films from Iran and the wider Middle East, supporting both established filmmakers and a new generation of emerging voices.

In 2023, Khosravi produced Terrestrial Verses, written and directed by Ali Asgari and Alireza Khatami, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section of the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The film was later named one of the ten best films of 2024 by The Hollywood Reporter, was released in more than twenty countries and reached over 100,000 admissions in France.

In 2024, he completed his first international feature co-production, Requiem for a Tribe, which premiered in competition at the Shanghai International Film Festival and later screened at True/False and Ji.hlava IDFF. In the same year, he produced Ali Asgari’s fourth feature, Higher Than Acidic Clouds, which had its world premiere at IDFA and subsequently screened at Hot Docs and Visions du Réel.

In 2025, he produced Cinema Jazireh, written and directed by Gözde Kural and co-produced between Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania. The film premiered in the Crystal Globe Competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. He also produced Ali Asgari’s fifth feature, Divine Comedy, which had its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival.

In 2026, he completed Ali Asgari’s sixth feature, A Bit of Light, selected for the Main Competition of the Venice International Film Festival, as well as Mohsen Gharaei’s latest feature, The Falling House, selected for Venice’s Orizzonti Competition. He also completed Marjan Khosravi’s second feature, Dreams of the Wild Oaks, set to premiere at IDFA 2026. The project received support from the Catapult Film Fund, IDFA Bertha Fund and CNC.

Alongside his production work, Khosravi has participated in a range of international industry programmes, labs and pitching forums, including Hot Docs CrossCurrents, DMZ Docs Industry, IDFA Forum, the Doha Film Institute Producers Lab, Visions du Réel Industry, EAVE Producers Workshop and Berlinale Talents. Through Seven Springs Pictures, he continues to develop long-term collaborations with filmmakers and aims to strengthen the visibility, sustainability and international reach of independent Iranian cinema.
