Joan Manuel Cabrera is a Uruguayan director and producer based in Montevideo. He works across film and photography, his practice has led him to collaborate with regional artists from fields such as cinema, painting, music, and fashion. In 2024, his short film "Simon" (2024) was nominated for Best National Short Film at the Uruguayan Critics Choice Awards (ACCU), and won the same award at several local festivals.
